Kenis Guardado's journey began in El Salvador, where he entered the construction industry at just 14 years old, working as a mason. From an early age, he learned the value of discipline, responsibility, and hard work through long days on construction sites.

By the age of 15, Kenis had already earned the trust of experienced workers and was promoted to foreman. Despite his young age, he supervised crews, coordinated daily construction activities, and ensured projects were completed efficiently and to high standards. These early leadership experiences laid the foundation for the career that would follow.

At just 16 years old, Kenis made his first major sacrifice. He left El Salvador and moved to Belize in search of better opportunities, where he continued working in construction for a year. At 17, he returned to El Salvador and became an independent contractor for the first time, leading his own construction crew and taking on the responsibilities of managing projects and workers—at an age when most young people were still discovering their future.

At 19, Kenis took the biggest risk of his life by immigrating to the United States with little more than experience, determination, and an unwavering work ethic. He first settled in San Francisco, California, where he continued working in construction before eventually relocating to the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region.

After moving to Maryland, Kenis worked at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport while continuing to pursue opportunities in the construction industry. Over the years, he worked for several respected construction companies throughout the DMV area, gaining extensive experience in concrete finishing, carpentry, foundations, structural construction, and large-scale commercial projects. Through dedication, consistency, and craftsmanship, he built a reputation for reliability, quality, and professionalism.

However, the path to building his own company was far from easy.

At one point, Kenis was offered the opportunity to become an independent subcontractor. The only obstacle was that he didn't own the tools and equipment required to get started. Rather than allowing fear to hold him back, he embraced the opportunity. Believing in his determination and work ethic, someone gave him the chance to acquire the tools he needed and pay for them over time.

That decision became a turning point in his life.

What began with sacrifice, courage, and a willingness to take calculated risks became the foundation for something much greater. Over the next ten years, Kenis worked as a subcontractor, building lasting relationships, earning the trust of clients and contractors, and establishing a reputation for dependable, high-quality workmanship throughout the region.
